Evans completes Bristol Rovers move

11 September 2000

Out of favour Albion striker Mickey Evans has finally completed his move to Bristol Rovers. Evans has spent most of the season there on loan, but failed to make the move permanent as expected last week when Rovers announced a press conference to reveal two new signings. The fee is believed to be around £250,000 - half a million less than we paid for him from Southampton back in the days of Ray Harford. That was 4 (four) managers ago!
