Fulham game confirmed

18 February 2002

The FA Cup 6th round game against Fulham has been confirmed as taking place on Sunday 10th March at 6:30pm and will be shown live on Sky Sports. It's a pretty unpleasant time to have it, but as even Arsenal can't get their game moved by offering to waive the TV money, we have absolutely no chance.

Tickets will be on sale soon, and the Club would like season ticket holders to claim their normal seats by replying to the letters that will be sent to them in the next day or two. The ticket office will sell tickets from Monday 25th February onwards by phone and in person to season ticket holders and account holders, who may buy up to four tickets each (in the case of season ticket holders, this is in addition to their own seats claimed by post). The Club do not expect the tickets to go on general sale (i.e. to non-account holders) at all.

Season ticket holders in the Smethwick End will be moved for this game, and will have seats in the Halfords Lane or East Stand reserved for them - which presumably means that Fulham have claimed their minimum guaranteed allocation of 15% of the capacity (roughyl 4,200 seats).
