Pre-season already?

13 February 2002

South-western Baggies may get a chance to see their team this summer without travelling day and night. An article in yesterdays Exeter Express & Echo reads as follows:

Plans are already taking shape for next season with a friendly booked up against West Brom. I had a chat with my old boss Frank Burrows this week and he agreed to bring the Baggies down to St James's Park on July 23. Hopefully they will have got through the play-offs and will be a Premiership side by then.
