Full House for Survival Battle05 May 2000West Bromwich Albion will play their last game of the season - the one that may decide their First Division future - in front of a capacity crowd after the ticket office sold the last few remaining tickets today. Tickets for the showdown match had been selling at a rate of some 4,000 a day since the result at Loftus Road last Saturday - which left their future hanging in the balance by seeing them on the same points total as Walsall, but ahead in the table on goal difference. Albion face the Championship winners, Charlton, at home while Walsall are left with an arguably more difficult match as they travel to Ipswich - who could finish in an automatic promotion spot if they win and other results go their way. Charlton, of course, feature former Albion striker Andy Hunt - but he insists that sentiment won't stand in the way of him scoring the goals that may sink them if he gets the chance, saying that Charlton have been training hard for the game and that manager Alan Curbishley is insisting they finish the season on a high note. Hopefully, the return to the Hawthorns may remind Hunt of the old days - when he used to miss absolute sitters with frustrating regularity...
