Baggies Band the target of unwelcome abuse

07 January 2000

The Baggies Band has been dissolved following the intimidation of one of its young members by so-called Albion supporters who didn't like the band. A 17 year old girl, who actually looks far younger, got separated after the game and found herself being followed by a group of "Albion supporters." She was verbally abused and became very fearful that they might go further. Apparently, this was the same group who told Roger earlier that they didn't like the band - only they weren't very polite about it.

The musicians are very young, some as young as 5. Organiser Roger is understandably furious. He feels unable or unwilling to take responsibility for so many young kids - so no more band.
