Goalkeeper signs too!

According to Sky Sports Albion have ended their search for another keeper by signing occasional England International Scott Carson from Liverpool on a four year deal. According to his agent, the initial fee is ?3.25 million but performance add-ons could eventually take it up to ?4 million.

The signing has been on the cards for a while, with other clubs reported to be showing an interest. The latest reports suggested that Liverpool wanted to add a "buy back" clause to the deal giving them first option should Albion want to sell him in the future.
