Defender signs!

Albion have made another signing! Slovakian International left back Marek Cech joins on a three year contract, with an option on a further year in the Club's favour. Albion will pay Porto ?1.4 million for the 25 year old, who started at Inter Bratislava and went on to play for Sparta Prague. He can also play left side of midfield.

Full details on the Official Web Site. It's an interesting signing given the rumours about Paul Robinson's failure to agree a new deal and stories that he'd been offered to Bolton as part of a player deal.
