The new season beckons....14 June 2007...and it's clear we're still in the Championship. Albion's campaign kicks off on 11th August with an away trip to Burnley and it's followed up with a home match against Preston a week later and an away trip to relegated Sheffield United the week after that. Full fixtures are on the Official Web Site and in loads of other places. Other highlights are Wolves at home on Saturday 24th November and away on Saturday 8th March, but expect both games to be moved for the benefit of the Police and/or TV coverage. Boxing Day sees us entertain newcomers Bristol City for the first time in over ten years, and on New Years Day we make the long trek to Ipswich (at least our trip to Norwich this season is on a Saturday - 19th April). The season ends with a home game against Southampton on 26th April and an away trip to QPR on Sunday 4th May. In between the two opening games, the League Cup draw has pitched us against Bournmeouth at home on Tuesday 14th August, starting at 7:45pm.
