Another in, another out?

16 January 2004

Albion have signed Aston Villa and ex-Charlton Athletic and Colchester United midfielder Mark Kinsella until the end of the season. As Kinsella put it "I've got six months to prove myself". We certainly hope so.

And out of the revolving door, maybe, goes midfielder Ronnie Wallwork, who has joined Bradford City on loan according to Sky Sports. Bradford manager and former Baggie Bryan Robson knows Ronnie from their time together at Manchester United, and obviously feels he can make more of an impact there than he has for us. The report also suggests that Wallwork has turned down a permanent move to Kilmarnock.

However, there seems to be no confirmation of this move other than a statement from Kilmarnock manager Jim Jeffries, ironically an ex-manager of Bradford City himself, who said that they had lost out on Wallwork because of Bradford's interest. The truth remains to be seen...
