Horse and Huck?17 December 2003Reports are now saying that Albion have had a bid accepted for striker Darren Huckerby as well as for Geoff Horsfield. Again, the figure has not been widely disclosed, although reports put it at around the ?750,000 mark. Huckerby has just finished his loan spell at Norwich, who said they could not afford to take him permanently - but that doesn't seem to have stopped them making a competing bid and being given permission to talk terms. Meanwhile, Albion are said to be still intersted in Borussia Monchengladbach striker Morten Skoubo, who had a brief trial here last week and who scored at the weekend after returning top play in Boruissia's second string.
