Cardiff - It's finally off

25 September 2003

The game at Cardiff City, scheduled for 11th October, has been postponed. A new date has yet to be announced.

With an International game taking place at the Millenium Stadium down the road, which uses City's car park for their Park and Ride system, three Cardiff players and two Albion players likely to be called up for Wales and a great many Albion players likely to be on International duty elsewhere, we're surprised it's taken this long to make the decision.

The downside is that it will no doubt end up as another unpleasant midweek ordeal on the nation's jam-packed motorway network...

Latest: Both clubs are requesting Tuesday 25th November as an alternative date (Albion's recorded announcement had been suggesting the 4th, but that would mean them playing three away games in a row).
