Tammy for... Malawi?

A spotters badge for BOING reader Andy Barefoot, who noticed a feature on the web site Malawi Here about our young star of the future, Tamika Mkandawire. It seems that the Malawi coach, Kim Splidsboel, has spotted the fact that Tammy was born in Malawi and is now investigating the possibility of him playing for their national side.

Apparently, Tammy was brought to their attention by a newspaper article at the weekend, which mentioned that he had been promoted to the first team following Albion's promotion to the Premiership - although he had yet to make his first team debut.

Watch out for the next set of International lineups!
