Away Season Ticket details09 May 2002Albion have today announced details of the availability of Away Season Tickets for next season. Given that we have nineteen new Premiership grounds to visit, the demand for away tickets is likely to be immense, and the club are issuing a maximum of 1400 Away Season Tickets for a cost of £120 each. For that, you get a book of £5 vouchers, one for each away game, and three further vouchers which may be needed for other away matches such as FA and League Cup games at the club's discretion. The price also includes an administration charge of £25 on top of the nineteen sets of £5. No refunds will be given for unused vouchers, unless insufficient tickets are available from the other club to satisfy all voucher holders. Away Season Tickets are numbered in the order in which they are issued, and the numbering may be applied in cases where insufficient tickets have been supplied by the other club. For the first time, the club are implementing a system whereby Away Season Ticket holders may have their tickets for every game sent to them automatically by post. This is a scheme operated by some other clubs, and will certainly make life easier for supporters living some distance from the ground. A credit or switch card is required to operate this system, and the Club have pointed out that they will not be responsible for tickets lost in the post, and will be unable to issue replacements. It is also not clear whether groups of friends will be able to have adjacent tickets under this system. Existing holders may renew their Away Season Tickets when applying for their home season tickets, and in any event must do so by 30 July. Existing Away Aeason Ticket holders will be accommodated before any new memberships are issued, providing they renew by 30 July. Away season tickets will go on sale to new applicants (subject to availability) from the ticket office from 9am - 5pm on the following dates. Applicants must bring their Home Season Ticket books with them as Away Season Tickets cannot be issued without it:
If there are any remaining tickets after the above priorities have been satisfied, which would seem unlikely, the club will announce further sale dates as necessary. Finally, Premier Shareholders still have priority over Away Season Ticket holders when supplies of tickets are limited.
