Bradford tickets? No chance03 April 2002Yes, it's the last away game of the season and with Game On for our promotion push this year there's even more incentive for the occasional away supporters to come out of the woodwork. Around 3,000 tickets went on sale today to home season ticket holders, and the wise ones began queueing last night in the rain to make sure of their places. By about 11:30pm there were about 350 people lined up along the Birmingham Road (the gates to the East Stand that houses the Ticket Office were closed). The general view was that with each person in the queue able to buy four tickets for season ticket holders, anyone arriving after about 5am the next morning would be disappointed. By 6am the queue was estimated to be around 1500 people strong, and joining it thus became pointless. Needless to say, the telephone is completely engaged and has been all morning. Funny, though - I don't remember seeing that many people up at Grimsby... Update: As of this afternoon, all tickets have been sold. Places are still available, however, for the Executive package comprising luxury coach travel, posh meal and entertainment. See the official site for more details.
