Koumas agrees terms!

JK ending his Tranmere days?
Koumas kicking his last ball for Tranmere?

The wait is nearly over... according to the Official WBA Web Site, Tranmere Rovers midfielder Jason Koumas has agreed personal terms for his £2.4 million move to Albion. The deal is expected to go through on Tuesday afternoon with Koumas heading straight off for International duty with the Welsh squad and reporting for training with Albion on Thursday.

Koumas will be the third addition in a week, following the signing earlier today of keeper Andy Petterson from Portsmouth on loan for the rest of the season. With Brian Jensen out of action with a(nother) broken foot, Albion were left with only Chris Adamson as first team cover and Petterson provides a greater degree of experience. The signing was not made in time for tomorrow night's game against Crewe, although it looks like Stanislav Varga's work permit will have been obtained in time for him to make the bench.
