Bradford confirm Ward enquiry

The official Bradford City web site carries the following statement from their Managing Director, Shaun Harvey:

"I can confirm that West Brom have made an enquiry about taking Ashley Ward on loan until the end of the season but they have also made similar enquiries to other clubs with the likes of Lee Hughes and Sergei Rebrov having their names linked with a move to Albion. However Ashley is still trying to regain full fitness and is rated at 50/50 for Tuesday night's game against Birmingham City."

Which, one could assume, would mean that the bid for the striker has failed. Or that it was dropped when we found out that Ward was unfit?
