Allardyce Exits

Sam Allardyce has declined what he described as a generous offer to stay at the Club next season and guide them back to the Premier League. In a statement on the clubs web site he states that the expectation would be for him to stay and manage them in the top flight after they got back and that was too long-term a commitment for him to make at this stage in his career.

Sam's assistant, Sammy Lee, and first-team coach Robbie Stockdale will also depart at the end of the season.
