01 February 2008

ALBION have had a busy last day of the January Transfer Window.

First came the news that we have signed the 24 year old Czech International goalkeeper Michal Danek on loan from Viktoria Pizen with a view to a permanent move either in the summer or next January.

Next we find that the Club have turned the loan deal from Manchester City for Ishmael Miller into a permanent move. Later it's confirmed that the 20 year old striker has signed a three-and-a-half year deal and cost ?900,000 rising to a possible ?1.4 million.

We then heard that we'd agreed a ?200,000+ fee to sign Scottish First Division winger Graham Dorrens in the Summer. The 20 year old who scored five goals in 20 league starts last season will remain at the Scottish club until the end of the season.

Then, at twenty past midnight, it is announced that we have signed Korea Republic (South Korea) star Do-Heon Kim on loan to the end of the season, with a view to a permanent move. The 25 year old midfielder expects to win his 46th international cap in a World Cup Qualifier next Wednesday.
