Arsenal keen on Davies

Reports circulating today are suggesting that Arsenal are taking a great deal of interest in centre half Curtis Davies, with a bid of ?8 million now on the table. It sounds a great deal of money, showing a significant profit over the ?3 million Albion paid for him a year ago - but would we be able to replace him?

As an additional sweetener, Arsene Wenger seems to be prepared to lend us promising young striker Theo Walcott for 4 months. Quite why, we're not sure - young strikers at Albion do little more than sit on the bench and he can do that just as well at their new ground...
