Black is the new red...

Albion's Official Web Site now carries a picture of next season's new away shirt - and it's black with a few little bits of silver trim. Reaction has been somewhat mixed so far; Neil reckoned:

"A walking advert for Umbro and nothing whatever to do with West Bromwich Albion traditions. So bad that I'll squirm when watching my team play in it."

Chip observed:

"It works though. Darren Carter looks like he's dropped a stone!"

and Roy added:

"There I was hoping we would get the yellow & green stripes back now we are in the less trendy division. At least I've just saved ?40!"
