Hulse bid accepted

In what is rapidly becoming the most eventful week at Albion since promotion, the Official Crewe Web Site has just announced that they have accepted a bid from us for striker Rob Hulse. The exact amount is not yet known, but it follows news yesterday that Albion were making an improved offer after having their original bid, reportedly of £700,000, turned down. Hopefully, terms can be agreed with Hulse and the deal done before the squad leave for Denmark on Sunday so he can train with them and play in the friendlies.
