Ronnie Wood - Albion Fan

Despite being a London boy through and though, Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood has revealed a surprise affiliation to premiership new boys West Bromwich Albion. In this month?s issue of JACK magazine, Wood talks of his brothers supporting them when young and says ?I still have a soft spot for them now?.

He goes on to say how ?West Bromwich Albion (were) very big in the Fifties. It?s a bit like my boys now supporting Arsenal and Chelsea?.

JACK editor James Brown comments, "You often get a case of celebrities jumping on the bandwagon of really successful clubs but Ronnie's support of the Baggies goes back to his childhood. When you interview someone who's had so much press coverage you always try and get something new out of them and Ronnie's interest in West Brom was a genuine surprise. Nice for the team to know they've a supporter in the world's greatest rock and roll band."
