Fulham game rearranged?

05 January 2003

Although no official new date has been announced for the replay of the game at Loftus Road against Fulham, a big clue was spotted by BOING reader Julian Rowe on the Charlton Athletic web site:

"Meanwhile, the Addicks have failed to agree with West Ham on a new date for the two clubs' Premiership clash. Charlton want to play on Wednesday, January 22nd, which is the same week Fulham have rearranged their postponed game with West Bromwich Albion, but the Hammers prefer a much longer delay and have suggested March. The Premier League is likely to decide on Monday."

So it looks like the game may take place on Tuesday 21st or Wednesday 22nd January, but we should know on Monday. At least it won't give Fulham too much time to get their injury-ravaged squad back together and spoil the advantage we would have got had it been played on New Years Day...
