Sneekes finds a new home

Albion old boy Richard Sneekes has signed a contract with Danish 1st Division side Herfolge Boldklub, the Danish first division club part-owned by former acting Albion Chairman Clive Stapleton. His first game for them was a 2-0 win over Peter Schmeicel's Hvidovre, coincidentally the last club that Albion played in Denmark during their pre-season tour just over a year ago.

According to those at the game, however, Sneekes spent most of his time in the midfield watching long balls whistling over his head. He should be used to it by now...
