Quinn off to County

29 November 2001

In an interesting development on the striker front, James Quinn has signed on a month's loan to Second Division side Notts county, who admitted that they had tried to sign him last season but had been turned down. Megson has previously said that he'd turned down approaches for Quinn because of his shortage of players, so with Roberts still injured and Rosler about to end his loan spell on Sunday, the loaning out of Quinn would suggest that something else is about to heppen.

County added that if the loan worked out, they'd look at making the deal permanent.
