Megson gets his man...again?27 October 2001Reports are suggesting that Tranmere midfielder Jason Koumas will become an Albion player in the near future. BBC Wales, talking about Cardiff's game against Tranmere, said that Koumas had been left out of the squad because he had been the subject of a £2 million bid from Albion. Radio Merseyside, presumably Tranmere's home station, also reported the possible move and said that Koumas was expected to become an Albion player within the next few days. The reports have, however, been played down by Tranmere's official web site, which said that the midfielder was out of action with a back problem and had actually travelled with the squad despite not being fit to play. They also denied the rumours that Koumas would be joining Albion. Watch this space...
