Wimbledon VIP Ticket Auction - CLOSED

20 September 2001

Latest: The auction has now closed - congratulations to Cuzer and Jeremy Barnes who joined up to make the winning bid of £145. Jeremy is over from Australia on a six week career break and hasn't seen us lose yet since he arrived - so let's hope the run continues!

Local Radio station 1152 am Capital Gold is sponsoring Saturday's match between West Brom and Wimbledon, and they've very kindly donated a pair of VIP tickets for us to auction to help boost the BOING/Grorty Dick appeal to help send the Albion's Youth Team to tournaments (see the recent Grorty Dick for full details).

The lucky bidder will get:

  • A guided tour of the stadium
  • A 3 course meal for two in the old Boardroom
  • Two seats two watch the game from the Directors Box
  • Half time refreshments
  • complimentary matchday programme

If you're interested in bidding for this rare opportunity to be among the guests of honour for an Albion game, please send an email to Tony Fudger (tonyfudger@cwcom.net).

The closing time for the auction is 5.30pm (UK time) on Friday 21st September, and the winner will need to supply the two names to Tony as soon as possible after that. They will then need to collect the tickets and car park pass (CAR PARK PASS! That's got to be worth an extra tenner!) from Capital Gold and arrive at the Hawthorns by 11.30.
