Stop Press: 2 new faces for Barnsley?

25 August 2000

News is pouring in thick and fast - the latest is that Jordao's International clearance HAS come through and he will play in Albion's game tomorrow at Barnsley after all. The signing of Fox has NOT been completed - but Albion are believed to have signed him on a one week "bridging loan" deal with Spurs that will allow him to play tomorrow as well, if selected.

The loan will be turned into a permanent signing next week provided there are no last minute hitches. The loan works in this case as a short term measure because the deadline for loan signings is 12 noon on the day of the game, rather than the Friday before for permanent transfers.
