Summary:

A Liverpool equaliser in the sixth of eight minutes of stoppage time denied Albion a win at Anfield. With Claudio Yacob away on compassionate leave, Craig Gardner earned a rare start at right wing with Jonny Evans continuing his midfield role from last week.

Liverpool took the lead through Jordan Henderson but Albion equalised nine minutes later when Simon Mignolet failed to clear the danger leaving Craig Dawson to fire home.

Albion the took the lead when Jonas Olsson beat everyone to a Chris Brunt corner but a few minutes later the game had to be stopped to allow Dejan Lovren to be stretchered off following a clash with Gardner.

After a period of sustained pressure, Albion finally caved in when Divock Origi's hopeful shot from 25 yards took a deflection.

The point keeps Albion in thirteenth place and lifted Liverpool over Everton into ninth.
