Summary:

An own goal was the only thing that separated Albion from Leicester City, but it was enough to give them their third win of the season. Alan Irvine restored last week's starting lineup after the League Cup defeat at Bournemouth, and Claudio Yacob recovered from injury to take a place on the bench.

The goal came early in the second half when Saido Berahino's cut back for Chris Brunt was headed by Wes Morgan into the thigh of Esteban Cambiasso, who could only stand and watch helplessly as the ball ricocheted into the net.

Apart from a save by Foster later on, decent chances were few and far between. The win made it four in a row over Leicester and lifted Albion into tenth place.
